They are 20mm. Now, on the pumpkin shape you cut the wires as close to the top as you can with dikes except the two end ones. Then you thread the wooden beads on. When you get to the last bead, fill both ends with hot glue and use that bead to attach the wires back together. Hold till dry.

Next up, the ribbons! (The polka dot ribbon is missing from this picture.) To make my bow I tied three different ribbon into three separate two-loop bows. And wired them together with a pipe cleaner. Using the ends of the pipe cleaner, I wired the bow to the stem of the pumpkin. Then decided to add a few more loops of ribbon.
